Nulla, nella definizione rigorosa, come opposto dell’Ente (ni-Ente), assenza o privazione assoluta di ogni positività (argomento importante, perché sottolinea come il significato/senso del Nulla si scopra solo nella relazione del Nulla all’Essere).
Per Parmenide il Nulla è l’assolutamente altro dall’ Essere e come tale non può essere pensato; è l’assolutamente impensabile e inesprimibile. L’Atomismo introduce un terzo elemento nella dicotomia assoluta Essere/Nulla: questo nuovo elemento è il movimento, il divenire (e per estensione la Ricerca… il movimento di sviluppo/creazione artistica, potremmo aggiungere); il Nulla, come non-Esssere, viene ammesso come Vuoto.
Proprio di questo vuoto intende occuparsi il MINISTERO del NULLA, o meglio del riempimento o ulteriore svuotamento (o scuotimento) di questo vuoto. L’esercizio (la pratica?) artistico come elemento base, la materia prima di una sorta di pratica alchemica… il Sole Nero. Da qui l’urgenza di patrocinio nella forsennate corsa al riempimento/svuotamento/scuotimento.
Plotino ci dice di più, identificando addirittura Materia e Nulla, ritenendo l’Essere addirittura penetrato dal Nulla (proprio per la natura stessa dell’Essere, da lui inteso come Molteplicità). Proprio l’UNO, l’assoluto principio primo che trascende l’Essere stesso è concepito non come privazione, ma come SOVRABBONDANZA! Non come un di meno ma come un di più.
Allora ecco che il Nulla colma e pervade se stesso. Dentro e fuori dall’Essere. Ed il Nostro MINISTERO è qui a farsene carico.
Ma il Nulla come altro dall’Essere è forse anche un fuori dall’Essere, se non addirittura un FUORI DELL’ESSERE, non un limite ma una SOGLIA, vero punto di contatto con uno spazio esterno che deve (e non deve al tempo stesso restare vuoto). Il Nulla che è e diviene pura esteriorità (vedi il termine latino fores che significa, letteralmente, “alla soglia”).
Bergson aggiunge che nell’idea di un oggetto concepito come inesistente vi è di più, non di meno, che nell’idea dello stesso oggetto concepito come esistente, poiché l’idea dell’oggetto inesistente è necessariamente l’idea dell’oggetto esistente con in più la rappresentazione di una esclusione di questo stesso oggetto. Nell’idea di Nulla si trova (almeno) tanta materia quanta se ne trova nella totalità.
Proprio il Nulla come parola dotata di significato, e proprio indicando la cosa in-esistente (con il suo di-più, la sovrabbondanza, ed il suo senso di soglia) è esso stesso un’operazione, un movimento di ricerca (estetica) fuori (e sradicato) dall’Essere.
Nulla è il di più, la sovrabbondanza.
Ed ecco qui la base di un’Etica, e la paradossale fondazione di un Ente, posati (soprattutto quest’ultimo) sul Nulla (sul ni-Ente, appunto). Una comunità di individui (Esseri) che non hanno da essere o realizzare alcunché, invero, se non il riempimento o svuotamento del proprio Nulla fuori da se. Non un’essenza, non una vocazione, non un destino biologico. Nemmeno un’inter-azione si rivela necessaria.
Chi si pensa nel e con il Nulla si ricrea in maniera costante come “singolarità qualunque”; singolarità come eterna differenza (e differenziazione). Singolarità che salvaguarda la differenza degli Esseri.
Nulla come stoss (urto in tedesco) instancabile che trae vigore dalla propria forza.
Il Nostro Ministero si pone a sua volta alla salvaguardia di un Nulla come spazio/filtro, come spazio/fuori (o spazio-oltre), spazio non-essenziale (più che inessenziale) dove tutto corre e accade in perenne equilibrio meta-stabile.
Nothing in theNothingness, in the strict definition, as the opposite of Being (ni-Being), absence or absolute deprivation of all positivity (an important argument, because it emphasises how the meaning/sense of Nothingness is only discovered in the relation of Nothingness to Being).
For Parmenides, Nothingness is the absolutely other from Being and as such cannot be thought; it is the absolutely unthinkable and inexpressible. Plotinus tells us more, even identifying Matter and Nothingness, considering Being even penetrated by Nothingness (precisely because of the very nature of Being, which he understands as Multiplicity). It is precisely the ONE, the absolute first principle that transcends Being itself that is conceived not as deprivation, but as OVERCOME! Not as a less but as a more.
Then Nothingness fills and pervades itself. Inside and outside Being. And Our MINISTRY is here to take charge of it.
But Nothingness as something other than Being is perhaps also an OUTSIDE of Being, if not even an OUTSIDE OF BEING, not a limit but a THRESHOLD, a true point of contact with an external space that must (and must not at the same time) remain empty. The Nothingness that is and becomes pure exteriority (see the Latin term fores meaning, literally, ‘at the threshold’).
Bergson adds that in the idea of an object conceived as non-existent there is more, not less, than in the idea of the same object conceived as existing, since the idea of the non-existent object is necessarily the idea of the existing object with the added representation of an exclusion of this same object. There is (at least) as much matter in the idea of Nothing as there is in the totality.
Precisely the Nothing as a word endowed with meaning, and precisely by pointing to the in-existent thing (with its di-plus, its superabundance, and its sense of threshold) is itself an operation, a movement of (aesthetic) research outside (and uprooted from) Being.
Nothing is the more-than, the superabundance.
And herein lies the basis of an Ethics, and the paradoxical foundation of a Being, resting (especially the latter) on Nothingness (on the ni-Being, in fact). A community of individuals (Beings) who have nothing to be or realise, indeed, but the filling or emptying of their own Nothingness outside themselves. Not an essence, not a vocation, not a biological destiny. Not even an inter-action proves necessary.
He who thinks himself in and with Nothingness constantly recreates himself as ‘any singularity’; singularity as eternal difference (and differentiation). Singularity that safeguards the difference of Beings.
